Technical innovation and excellence celebrated at IBC Awards
IBC2018: Awards presented to Eurosport, Medialaan, RTÉ, Econet Media, BBC R&D as well as Sesame Street co-creator Joan Ganz Cooney
Eurosport, Medialaan and RTÉ took home the prestigious Innovation Awards tonight as IBC celebrated all that is good about media production and distribution in Europe.
IBC’s international judging panel also presented its Judges’ Prize to Econet Media and bestowed its International Honour for Excellence on Sesame Street creator Joan Ganz Cooney.
Meanwhile, teams from BBC R&D collected two trophies: the prize for the best Technical Paper as well as an IBC Special Award.
