Joe Igoe

Joe Igoe is the Chief Operating Officer for MBC Group. Based in Dubai, MBC is the leading media company in the Middle East and North Africa region, providing a wide range of services that bring premium content and entertainment to consumers via television, radio and digital.

Prior to this role, Joe served as Chief Technology Officer for Mediacorp, Singapore's media and entertainment group that serves as the national broadcaster for both television and radio for the country. During his time in this role he oversaw the technology strategy, design and implementation for Mediacorp’s new campus while also overseeing construction of a nationwide DVB-T2 SFN transmission system.

Joe was previously Chief Technology Officer at WGBH, the leading public broadcaster based in Boston, Massachusetts. He has also served as Vice President of Post Production for Fox where he oversaw several functions including primetime promo editing, audio mixing, graphics production as well as sports highlights. Prior to Fox, Joe served in Engineering roles at Disney and National TeleConsultants.

Joe began his media career over 30 years ago at the Rochester Institute of Technology where he worked in production, operations and engineering roles while earning his degree in Electrical Engineering. Joe also holds an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
